[R-sig-Geo] misalignment between data projected in R and ArcGIS (Helen Sofaer)

Thanks, heaps Roger!!!

Have no idea how this happened - as I obviously just copy and pasted into the shell window and into R...
Anyway, now works as suggested!
I obtain the same results in R and rgdal
-871738.5   1091090

So, any difficulties seem due to what is done in ArcGIS...
