[R-sig-Geo] Error in .gd_SetProject(transient, crs(r))

Well, I rather don't, rgdal is critical for me.
Perhaps it is more a problem of gdal itself than of rgdal or raster.
I'm using
Loaded GDAL runtime: GDAL 1.10.0, released 2013/04/24

Which gdal version are you using?
