[R-sig-Geo] bidimensional regression

Hello everyone,

I noticed that there was a thread for this topic in 2008, but the issue doesn't look to have been solved. Out of curiosity, does anyone know of an r package or function designed to run bidimensional regressions as described by Friedman and Kohler (2003)? I have sets of eye-movements represented as coordinates in Cartesian space, and I wish to correlate them together.
