Dear all,
I have 2m-temperature data with the following projection information:
esri_pe_string =
"GEOGCS[\"GCS_WGS_1984\",DATUM[\"D_WGS_1984\",SPHEROID[\"WGS_1984\",6378137.0,298.257223563]],PRIMEM[\"Greenwich\",0.0],UNIT[\"Degree\",0.0174532925199433]],VERTCS[\"EGM96_Geoid\",VDATUM[\"EGM96_Geoid\"],PARAMETER[\"Vertical_Shift\",0.0],PARAMETER[\"Direction\",1.0],UNIT[\"Meter\",1.0]]"
I need to project the data on a standard latitude-longitude grid.
But to do this I have to create a SpatialPoints object and specify a
proj4 string.
Any ideas how to find the correct proj4 specification for the above
mentioned projection?
Or is there any other way to incorporate the esri_pe_string info into an
R object so that I can
transform the data coordinates?
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Best regards,
