This probably does not answer the full question, but you may want to start by looking at the RgoogleMaps package which will download maps from google, plot them, and overlay your data on the map.

How to plot gps readings (lat, lon)
on map
with appropriate scale (to compare lateron with google maps

could you please suggest any topic discussed before 
(maybe with filtration  of gps readings that is changing 
even if velocoty is =0 (during night) due to position error
