Apologies for my question. I have now understood the issue:

The pcf of a planar point pattern (that might consist of the central points
of a sectioned fibre system), as implemented in R, directly provides the
estimator for the reduced pcf of a fibre process, i.e. not taking into
account the fibre where the respective point is located.
