[R-sig-Geo] typing error shuts down R under GRASS

I cannot reproduce this problem with Rterm, R 2.4.0, GRASS 6.1, cygwin. 
Please be more specific, your report could be caused by almost anything, 
and doesn't include any necessary contextual information.
