[R-sig-Geo] installing spgrass6

Hi all.
Dunno whether this is the right place to ask, but I am trying to install 
spgrass6 on an updated debian testing box, and I start with:

install.packages(c("sp","rgdal"), dependencies=TRUE)

but I get

Avviso in install.packages(c("sp", "rgdal"), dependencies = TRUE) :
         argument 'lib' is missing: using /usr/local/lib/R/site-library

Any hint would be greaatly appreciated.
