[R-SIG-Finance] in xts plot, how do I remove the hour and min info in the x axis labels?

There is no 'xts plot'

You need to be very specific, following the posting guide, about what
you tried, what you expected, and what happened.

Generally speaking, 'format' is a parameter you can set by formatting
the index of your data. see ?strftime

But without knowing what plot function you called, and how you called
it, no one can answer your squestion in anything other than
generalities. So please provide a reproducible example next time, or
you are simply wasting everyone's time.
