[R-SIG-Finance] R interface to LIM?

hallo to all,

dirk eddelbuettel previously implemented an interface to LIM (see
http://dirk.eddelbuettel.com/papers/r_lim_bloomberg.pdf) but in 
a recent correspondence he let me know that he no longer
has access to the code (it's proprietary anyway).

has anyone else tried this? there's some limited 
support from the LIM folks (see http://www.lim.com/download/splus.html)
in the form of "this *should* work for R". has anyone got 
an interface to LIM up and running?
