I can't try at the moment, but I think you can do:

 X<-priceIts("GE",quote="Adj");plot(X)

but I am not sure. Just try it, but remember, that it is also adjusted
for dividends too. My opinion is that the market is discounting the
dividends, so you shouldn't do that again, but maybe I am wrong.
