[R-sig-eco] Erro in ordiR2step

Dear List,

I'm trying select spatial variables with ordiR2step function {vegan}.
But I got the following error:

Error in terms.formula(formula, data = data) : 
  invalid model formula in ExtractVars

Could someone help me with this error? Would be some wrong with structure of
my data?
