Hi Pedro,

I was just reading an article yesterday that used an R package for quantile
regression. Don't know if it's precisely what you are looking for, but you
could check it out. 

Spectral Distance Decay: Assessing Species Beta-diversity by Quantile
Regression. Photogrammetric Engineering & Remote Sensing Vol. 75, No. 10,
October 2009, pp. 1225–1230.

I found the pdf freely available online. The R package they mention is:
quantreg R.
