Hi Jeff,

ECOLOG-L as well as R-SIG-ECOLOGY are, as far as I know, good places.
However, ecological modelers seem to be a rare species and lots of
people are seeking for them nowadays.

You may also try one of the following:

jobs at yomos.de
- a European group of "Young Modelers in Ecology"
- see also http://www.yomos.de/

r-sig-dynamic-models at r-project.org
- The new R special interest group for dynamic modeling.
- This list is not restricted to ecology,
but there are of course ecologists.
