Please see the NEWS file for R 2.10.0 (currently at release-candidate in
unstable).

By the time R 2.10.0 hits unstable -- no earlier than release on October 26
plus 10 days in unstable -- we hope to have re-built all 100+ r-cran-*
packages under R 2.10.0 so this very warning will not appear.  But it is a
bit of work, that are only about four us maintaining these 100+ packages.
