I'm puzzled.  I can confirm that installing as user to different libraries
(purpusely created for testing) in my home directory produces these errors.
However, installing as root to any of these same libraries works ok.  Googling
and searching in J Baron's archives is not giving any clues.  Any further ideas
to pinpoint the problem are very welcome.
