The NOTE regarding the maintainer field has never been altered previously,
and it looks syntactically fine on the surface.

For the WARNING, I edited the NAMESPACE to use `import` rather than
`importFrom`, but that didn't fix things.

Any thoughts are greatly welcomed and appreciated.
