Dear package developers:
I have run into a dilemma...
I received a message that my package has errors on the development version of R; and that I must fix the error by August 26. Since I will be traveling out of the country from Aug 17--27, I knew I had to fix the error right away - which I did. But when I tried to submit the updated package, I was unable to do so because CRAN is on vacation until Aug 19. Note that this is after I leave on my trip, and I will not be able to submit anything to CRAN while I am traveling.
So I can't submit my package until Aug 28 at the earliest, and this is two days after the Aug 26 deadline I was given. What can I do to save my package from getting the axe? Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks
