Thank you for pointing out that the issue is reproducible with the
current versions of CRAN packages [1]. This is a problem in the RSQLite
package. It has been partially fixed in March [2], but apparently the
fix was not complete.

I think you'll need to contact the RSQLite maintainers about this
problem.
