[R-pkg-devel] update.packages Error in if (any(diff)) { : missing value where TRUE/FALSE needed

Dear Listers,

Using R version 4.4.1 (2024-06-14 ucrt) package updates were done 
without any trouble up to now. Today I have this error:

Error in if (any(diff)) { : missing value where TRUE/FALSE needed

Subsequently I have upgraded to R version 4.4.2 (2024-10-31 ucrt), just 
in case, but get the same error when updating packages. [ 
update.packages(ask='graphics',checkBuilt=TRUE) ]

Any idea about what's happening and how to get a workaround ?
