Dang. In which case I bail. I have weird things on Windows too -- it would
never see my external library directory (set via .libPaths in Rprofile.site)
and I think I gave up and copied the libraries I needed for a test into
$R_HOME/library instead.

Maybe someone else can help.

Sorry, Dirk

| | Hi All,
| |
| | I'm running into an error with R CMD check --as-cran on R 3.2.0 for

| | FWIW, it makes it through devtools::check() just fine.

|
| That is pretty explicit. R does not where to find a CRAN mirror, and the
| powers that be decided to not set a default.
|
| So do something like
|
| ## Example of Rprofile.site
|     local({
|         r <- getOption("repos")
|         r["CRAN"] <- "http://cran.rstudio.com"
|         options(repos = r)
| })
|
| in Rprofile.site or Rprofile -- and let go of some of the switches in
|
| | -no-site-file --vanilla --no-environ --no-save --no-restore CMD check
| | --as-cran
|
| as you are being bitten by just that: too vanilla a session.
