<pre wrap=""><tt>Dear List, I wonder if there is a package that may help me in finding mimina of a specified function in 2 or more real variables.<br>Until now I used the optim() function and/or the nlr() one, passing the function g() of interest and the initial guess for the parameters to be optimized over, but it is rather tricky as in my case the function g() may have one absolute minimum and several relative minima which I'm interested in.<br></tt></pre>
