analysis, etc. Ability to conduct large scale projects and research through
all stages: concept formulation, definition of metrics, determination of
appropriate statistical methodology, research evaluation, and final research
report. SAS programming: data step and procedures, macros desirable. Excellent
project management skills Ability to work independently. Proactive knowledge
of production processes. 3-5 years experience in statistical field and 1 year
experience conducting original research. 1 year experience working with
external clients in a business environment. Availability to travel up to once
or twice per month. Knowledge and experience in direct marketing strongly

demonstrable ability in numerical and statistical coding in some main-line
language, such as MATLAB, C, FORTRAN, or S. These models will primarily be
implemented in C on a UNIX platform, so direct experience for both is
required. A proven history of data analysis and modeling is needed,
particularly with large data sets. You must have in-depth coding experience in
at least two of the following methodologies, and some familiarity with the
rest: Linear and Logistic Regression, including total least squares, model
selection, and model diagnostics; Categorical Data Analysis, Cluster Analysis
and Discriminant Analysis, Neural Nets, Tree-based and other machine learning
models, modern statistical methods such a MCMC, Smoothing, EM algorithm,
etc.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT color=#000000>Plus Skills: Additional experience with C++, Perl, SQL
and NT is beneficial.</FONT></P>
