[R] No "doc" directory in my installation of R.

R documentation on my Ubuntu 20.20 is in /usr/share/R/doc.

I see no doc directories in the locations you mention using

   locate /doc/

Maybe you should be asking on R-sig-debian, perhaps with less noise about 
RStudio?
