[R] Transfer a 3-dimensional array to a matrix in R

Or use aperm() (array index permuation):
  > array(aperm(x, c(2,1,3)), c(6,3))
       [,1] [,2] [,3]
  [1,]    1    7   13
  [2,]    4   10   16
  [3,]    2    8   14
  [4,]    5   11   17
  [5,]    3    9   15
  [6,]    6   12   18
