[R] useR! 2013 registration open

We are happy to inform you that registration for useR! 2013 is now open,
see

This meeting of the R user community will take place at the University
of Castilla-La Mancha, Albacete, Spain, July 10-12, 2013. Pre-conference
tutorials will be offered on July 9. A list of tutorials is available at

Submission of contributed talks and posters is still open. More
information can be found here:

In addition to regular talks and posters, all participants are invited
to present a Lightning Talk, for which no abstract is required. The
format for Lightning Talks is a 15-slide version of Pecha Kucha.
Registered participants will be contacted to provide an informative
title in due course.

Thanks to Revolution Analytics, Google, R-Studio and Oracle, we have a
number of bursaries available for Ph.D.  students. These will cover
registration fees and, if possible, travel expenses. If you would like
to apply you need to:

- Register for the conference and include "Apply for Bursary" in the
Comments section of the Registration form
- Submit an abstract using the standard procedure (remember that
deadline is 31 March 2013). Only those applicants who submit an abstract
will be considered.
- Send a summary of your CV, motivation letter (including title of your
abstract) and support letter from your advisor to
useR-2013 en r-project.org . In the subject of the e-mail state clearly
that it is a bursary application.

Deadline for bursary applications is 15th April 2013.
