[R] POSIXct date missing "time component"

I suppose I should add that this happens at midnight

dates.mine

[3] "2009-05-22 00:00:00 GMT" "2009-05-22 00:15:00 GMT"

dates.mine[3]
[1] "2009-05-22 GMT"
