have the following data:

RF00505    100.00      20.00         0.00           0.00    
RF00232    100.00      00.00        100.00      100.00    
RF00493    100.00      60.00        100.00      33.33    
RF00231     0.00         40.00        0.00           100.00

but what I do is leave my file in ascending order of families, as if this
file:

                    RF00231  RF00232  RF00493  RF00505 
RF00231     100.00    40.00         0.00          0.00       
RF00232     100.00    0.00          100.00      100.00    
RF00493     33.33      60.00        100.00      100.00    
RF00505     0.00        20.00         0.00          100.00  

how to do this in R?
