You afre presumably referring to the header line on that page,
since the main text is explicit about "Given a set of logical
vectors, is at least one of the values true?"

That said, I agree with Michael that the purpose of "any" could
be better worded. And I would suggest that even closer to the
point would be "Is any value true?" rather than "Are any values true?"
