[R] constrain min and max of output

Hi There,

I have a similar problem.

I have a function that i want to maximize.

lets say: (x-2)^2+(y-4)^2 and i want to constraint that maximization to
x+y<=5

I can program that constraints in R.

Do you have any suggestion?
