Hi Uwe & Duncan,
Thanks for your advice. Just to let anyone else know how to fix this, I 
changed the year line to:

year = 2006;

(the year of publication) and the author line to:

  author = personList(as.person("Lemon J")),

that is with no punctuation. It seems to work correctly now.
