[R] Joiny probability with R

Hi,
    I have two vector with the marginal distribution like this:
> a
[1] -0.419 -0.364 -0.159 -0.046 -0.010 -0.002  0.000  0.000  0.000
> b
[1] 0.125 0.260 0.270 0.187 0.097 0.041 0.014 0.004 0.001

How can I calculate the joint distribution with R?
