[R] problem in installing Rattle in R 2.12.1.0

How?  From the sources?  Since you appear to be using Windows 
(unstated), from binary packages?  Which versions, from which 
repositories?

Those two conflict: which is first in your path?

Assuming this is current R 2.12.1 (or you should have upgraded first 
according to the posting guide) and 32-bit R on Windows, uninstall 
gtk-2.12.9-win32 and packages RGtk2 and XML and start again.
