[R] Installing different R releases on Mac OS X

You may need to build the 2.8 version from sources. I don't think the  
binaries are supplied for ancient versions.

I guess we will be having a citation duel. My cite is newer and I  
would argue more authoritative, since it was written by Simon Urbanek.
