[R] can't install plotrix

  No problem here (R 2.13.1, Ubuntu, straight from the probability.ca
repository).

  R version?  Operating system (probably linux)?  Recent success in installing
other packages?  Results of tools::md5sum() and file.info()
on the .tar.gz file?
