Yes, but it fails:
liv at liv-laptop:~$ R --interactive -e require(Rcmdr)
bash: syntax error near unexpected token `('
liv at liv-laptop:~$ R -e require(Rcmdr) --interactive
bash: syntax error near unexpected token `('
