As I said, your Ghostscript interpreter generates that error, it is not 
an R one. Try to see why that GhjostScript version does not work with 
the commands R generates to be executed by GhostScript - or just try 
another GhostScript (more recent) implementation:

EPL Ghostscript 8.15 is several years old now, perhaps install a recent 
GPL GhostScript and try again
