[R] Error Running TinnR with R

I have had similar problems after changing from R 2.9 to 2.10.
what seemed to work (after some googling) was making sure that
Rprofile.site allows write access to users, and then in TINN-R I ran
R->configure->permanent.

I fiddled around for a while to get this to work - so I may have
missed out recording an essential step here.
