[R] bipartite- is the quantitative linkage density measure weighted or not?

Dear Carsten Dormann,

I would like to know if the quantitative linkage density measure given
by bipartite is weighted or not?
I couldn't find this information on the package manual or on previous
posts from R-help.in Tylyanakis et al 2007 (the reference provided in
bipartite package manual) both measures are explained.
