[R] READ.TABLE for Mac

Yes,
I paste the wrong ERROR MESSAGE... Cause I was checking many options it the
problem was about files with separate names...
But the problem still persists...
I am using the following code:

file<-read.table("/Users/Márcio/UdeM/Travail Dirigé/Data/MU284
Population.txt",header=T,skip=24)

And getting the following error message:

Erro em file(file, "rt") : não é possível abrir a conexão
Além disso: Warning message:
In file(file, "rt") :
  cannot open file '/Users/Márcio/UdeM/Travail Dirigé/Data/MU284
Population.txt': No such file or directory
