What is the structure of file$time? Is it Date/POSIXct? 'at=1:12'
only works if those are the dimensions of file$time. So give us an
idea of what the data is (PLEASE do read the posting guide
http://www.R-project.org/posting-guide.html and provide commented,
minimal, self-contained, reproducible code).
