With odfWeave [1] you can create OOo documents, from which the
conversion to .rtf would be trivial.

If you wan to export a table, then you could also export it in an HTML
file (say, via xtable() ) and then Open with Gnumeric. I think MS
Office would also do this, but OOo doesn't seem to.
