[R] how to make the tick character in Y-axis to be horizontal?

hello ,every one ,
 I draw a figure as shown in appendix A,
  The tick characters in the Y-axis is arranged in the vertical
direction.Now I want to arranged the Y-axis tick in the horizontal
direction.

How could I do ,then?
