Run Length Encoding
  lengths: int [1:12] 2 3 1 4 1 3 2 3 1 1 ...
  values : num [1:12] 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 1 2 3 ...
> rep( seq_along(tmp$lengths), tmp$lengths )
 [1]  1  1  2  2  2  3  4  4  4  4  5  6  6  6  7  7  8  8  8  9 10 11 11 11 12
