The R Foundation doesn't offer any workshops, but there are lots of 
workshops and training sessions offered by various groups.  For example, 
useR meetings (which occur about once a year, this year's was in 
Dortmund in August) generally include a number of tutorials.  The 
Bioconductor project (www.bioconductor.org) offers a number of workshops 
each year.  And there are commercial offerings (e.g. by XL Solutions, 
http://www.xlsolutions-corp.com/).
