The R Foundation doesn't offer any workshops, but there are lots of
workshops and training sessions offered by various groups. For example,
useR meetings (which occur about once a year, this year's was in
Dortmund in August) generally include a number of tutorials. The
Bioconductor project (www.bioconductor.org) offers a number of workshops
each year. And there are commercial offerings (e.g. by XL Solutions,
http://www.xlsolutions-corp.com/).
