[R] Suggestion: Re: Fatal error .RData

And does it need to be a fatal error? load("test.txt") doesn't produce
a fatal error even though the file clearly isn't in the correct
format.

Or is there the possibility that loading a malformed rdata file
introduces memory corruption?
