tmp <- with(iris, seq( min(Petal.Length)-1, max(Petal.Length)+1, length.out=6))
with( iris, plot( Sepal.Width, Sepal.Length, col=topo.colors(5)[ cut(Petal.Length,tmp) ] ) )
