[R] plotting graph in different device

First open the device, then plot

Hi,
i try to plot my graph into different device using x11(),
but when i do this comes up:

Warning message:
'length(width)' differs between new and previous
         ==> NOT changing 'width'

anyone know how to solve that?
and what should i do if i want to plot 4 graphs into by opening 4 device
in
R?
