[R] unlist & dataframes

I have forgotten to say that the elements in the list are not necessarily
equal... meaning that x1 and x2 are from different dimensions so I can't use
data.frame(l) 

More suitable example: 

x1=data.frame(Name=LETTERS[1:2],Age=1:2)
x2=data.frame(Name=LETTERS[3:5],Age=3:5)
l=list(x1,x2)
l
 l
[[1]]
  Name Age
1    A   1
2    B   2

[[2]]
  Name Age
1    C   3
2    D   4
3    E   5
