[R] 1501-511 Compilation failed for file ch2inv.f - R on AIX 5.2.

Look like you need to use a Fortran compiler set to accept Fortran 77 
(which the R sources are).

We don't know what 'f95' is, and this is not really an R issue so please 
ask your sysadmins for help.
